Tips to protect and save gadgets from water this summer

According to a recent survey that was conducted by Google, summer is the season when cell phones, Smartphones, tablets and e-readers are most likely to get wet. Forty three percent of people surveyed said that summer is when their gadget got soaked. There are several precautions that can be taken to prevent your beloved gadgets from getting wet and now there is a way to save your gadgets even after they do go for a swim.
If you know that you are going to be near the water there are several precautionary measures that you can take to “waterproof” your phone. Dry CASE is an airtight sealable plastic container that makes it so your phone or tablet can be used safely in or around water without worrying if it falls in. There are also cell phone cases that make your phone or tablet waterproof, for example Lifeproof or Otterbox waterproof cases. These are all great options, but what if you are near water and your phone or tablet is not protected by a waterproof bag or case? There is now a way to save your wet gadgets that have been fully submerged or just splashed unexpectedly. DRY-ALL makes three drying products that can revive even the wettest of gadgets.
We can’t always be prepared for our gadgets to get soaked by having them in waterproof casing. You just never know when an impromptu pool party might pop up, or if your toddler may want to see if your iPhone can swim in their bath. It is a comfort to know that even if you don’t have your phones waterproof case on, your gadget can be fully recovered using DRY-ALL’s one of a kind drying technology. They make three different types of drying kits: The Wet Cell Phone Emergency Kit, The Wet Smartphone Emergency Kit, and the Wet Electronic Tablet Emergency Kit. The cell phone kit is a zip top bag that completely dries cell phones or smartphones in 48 hours and can be used once. The Smartphone kit is a sealable hard plastic case that completely dries cell phones or smart phones in as little as six hours and can be reused to save up to five phones, perfect for a family or the accident prone. The tablet kit is a zip top bag that completely dries all tablet PCs and e-readers in 48 hours and can be used once.
Saving a gadget that has already been soaked is easy. First you stop the flow of electricity to the item by removing the battery or turning the item off if the battery is unreachable. Next you wipe off any moisture that is still on the soggy item and then place it in the bag or container depending on which product you are using. Finally you seal the bag or snap the container shut and wait the recommended amount of time. Your item will be dried out and ready for use.
DRY-ALL works by pulling the moisture from the innermost circuitry of your cell phone using their one of a kind drying technology that is made right here in the USA using the same family recipe that the CEOs grandfather invented 60 years ago. Their technology has been used to keep sensitive military equipment dry and used by NASA. You can find DRY-ALL at Radio Shack and Pep Boys nationwide as well as at several pool stores and online at over 30 retailers.
