wet cell phone tip #19 Eggnog and iPhones dont mix

Now that the holidays are here we are all enjoying our holiday favorites some hot cider, peppermint cocoa, even my personal favorite eggnog with some warming additions. After a few of these spiked holiday drinks it is easy to see how accidents may happen such as spilling them on you electronics. If you do end up with an eggnog soaked phone it is very important to follow these steps.
1. remove the battery immediately (iPhone users turn the phone off)
2. rinse the phone thoroughly in distilled water
3. dry excess water off of the phone
4. place in the wet cell phone emergency kit and wait 48 hours
5. once the phone is dry you can replace the battery and safely turn it back on and use like normal.
