Wet cell phone saved after four days

We had a customer call us a few weeks ago that had there family cell phone fall in to the tide pools at the beach. She called us to see if her wet cell phone could be saved even though it had been four days since it originally got wet. Since she had not pushed any buttons I let her know that DRY-ALL could save her wet cell phone. We told her to rinse the phone with distilled water to get all of the salt water off of the inside of the phone. After doing that we told her to place her phone in DRY-ALLs Wet Cellular Phone Emergency kit and leave it for 48hrs. She called this morning to let us know that her cell phone works great now and DRY-ALL saved her wet cell phone.

Wet Cell phone? Why you should never push any buttons on a wet cell phone

We had a customer call today who's phone took a noes dive straight into the toilet. She called looking for our product to dry it out. The first thing I asked was if she had any buttons on the phone after it had gone for a swim. She replied, "of course I have pushed buttons". There is really nothing we could do for her at this point. I think this is the number one problem we face with wet cell phones. A cell phone is an electronic item, I think a lot of us forget to look at them that way. If you dropped a hairdryer in the water you wouldn't immediately plug it in and turn it on to see if it still works, of course you wouldn't that would be crazy. When you push buttons on a wet cell phone you send electric current through your phone which has water inside. Water and electricity are not exactly the best of friends, this electric current then shorts out your phone. Remember if you have a wet phone don't panic , do not hit any buttons, remove the battery if possible, and place in the Wet Cellular Phone Emergency Kit!

Wet cell phone? Never use a hair dryer

When your cell phone gets wet you never want to use a hair dryer or any other form of heat such as using a clothes dryer, placing in direct sun of a windshield, or using an oven. Why? I will explain, a cell phones inner circuitry is extremely delicate and held together by tiny solder points. This solder is no longer made with lead, this means the melting point is much lower than it once was. When you use any source of heat on your phone directly it melts these tiny solder points causing damage to the inner workings of your cell phone. Melting the internal solder on your phone could cause the wiring to come loose and your phone will have damage that can not be repaired easily or inexpensively. When you are dealing with a wet cell phone stick to a professional product made to dry wet cell phones not home remedies. DRY-ALLs' wet cellular phone emergency kit .
