With all of the holiday celebrations going on in the coming weeks it is likely someone will spill some sort of alcohol on their phone. If this happens to you follow the steps below to ensure that you save your phone.
1. Remove the battery right away and DON'T press any buttons to see if it works this will kill the phone. ( if you have an iPhone which does not have a removable battery turn the phone off)
2. Rinse the phone completely in water , this will remove all the stickiness and corrosive material from the inside and outside of the phone.
3. Towel off any excess moisture from the phone.
4. Place phone in the wet cell phone emergency kit and seal shut.
5. wait 48 hours
6. your phone is dry and ready to have the battery replaced.
